This week we listened to jazz that was recorded at the end of July, imagining the comfort level of recording studios in the 50s through the 70s with all that machinery running and inadequate a/c! Cuts from Miles, Thelonious, Gary Burton and Keith Jarrett (what was that session like!) Art Farmer with Yusef Lateef (that album has always "felt" like summer to me), Hubert Laws and more!
