Playlist for 2-13-2018 WFCF - Days of the Week!

Laissez les bons temps rouler! I totally just copied and pasted that. Today's show is not Mardi Gras themed but instead (and for no reason at all) we're doing songs with days of the week in them. As usually happens with random, ridiculous themes, some very nice deep cuts popped up (Bobby Broom, Herbie Nichols, Hal McKusick, Tom Harrell...) and some fine recordings I wasn't really familiar with - including the opening number by Benny Golson. Should be fun! Tune in Tuesday 2/13 from 3-7pm eastern with a break at 5 by clicking here or at 88.5 FM locally. See you then! - Kendo
