Jazz Greats Tuesdays on WFCF

"Jazz Greats" every Tuesday from 3-7pm Eastern on WFCF 88Five St. Augustine! From seriously ancient to just-released, from the obscure & forgotten to household names - but always tasty! There's a slight emphasis on 60's & 70's jazz (always a track from CTI) with a few tablespoons of fun & local flavor thrown in. Click here to listen online!

Also check out Palm Coast Jazz, a podcast I co-host filled with splendid original jazz from Florida musicians! My syndicated show "Kendo's Jazz Sampler" is on hiatus since I've become jazz director at WFCF.

Song titles with an asterisk are "currents" at the time of airplay.

This week's theme is "Black & Blue"! All song titles have the word 'black' or 'blue' in them. We hit up most of the 'black' songs in my library last week, but I saved a few for this show. New Show!

In addition to hosting "Jazz Greats" on WFCF and iHeart, I now also have a new, weekly jazz hour in syndication called "Kendo's Jazz Sampler". The emphasis is on fun and positive selections - an hour of music to make you feel good! The show can be heard Monday mornings at 6am Eastern on WNHU New Haven, and Wednesday mornings at 11am Pacific on Radio KSCR in Los Angeles. Both broadcasts can be listened to online for free at their websites.

Just below the header of this page is a tab for the new show, where you can find the playlist for each week's broadcast. I'll announce when more stations bring the show on board! Hope you like! - Kendo

Continuing with this summer's odd themes is this one: all the songs on the show are 6 minutes and something long. Lots of music I've been itching to play including Etienne Charles, Brad Mehldau and La Lucha. Tune in on Tuesday August 5th from 3-7pm. Listen online for free anywhere in the US by clicking here.
