Celebrating the virtuosity & musicianship of the great vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson who passed away August 15th at age 75. I don't normally do tribute shows for musicians who pass, but Bobby represents a daring and an aesthetic of ambiance that has affected me emotionally for the past 20 years with albums like "Conception: The Gift of Love" and "Happenings". We'll also check out his major contributions to other recordings by artists like Lee Morgan, Grant Green, Sonny Stitt, George Cables & more.
