As if we need an excuse for jazz shenanigans...this week's show falls on April Fool's day so... instant theme show! Song's about fools, folly, jokes, pranks, idiots as well as a few songs that are jokes themselves. New jazz mixed in as well as a good number of tracks that have nothing to do with foolishness. Albums new to the show include "Count Basie at Newport", "Chet Baker Sings" and Christian McBride's "Number Two Express" and a superb 2006 effort from Mark Egan called "As We Speak".
