Well - it's happened. We've reached the end of summer, so this will be the last themed show for a while. But it's a good one: "The Night"! Songs about dreamy things, mysterious things, spooky things, lonely things, amazing things, lofty things, lowly things & since we are talking about music here, romantic things. If you are sad to see the themed shows leave, have no fear - next week I have something very special planned; and in October we'll embark on a new, fun way of exploring the Jazz Greats. Meanwhile - we'll celebrate the music of the nocturnal this Tuesday (9/17) from 3-7pm Eastern. Listen online anywhere in the US by clicking here. Bring a sweater and meet me then! - Kendo

Interesting show this week including a request for Roland Kirk. Working on letting you hear the entire "Duster" album by Gary Burton, today we got to the first two tracks. Another album that has recently captivated me is "Atlantis" by Wayne Shorter. New releases from Negroni's Trio and Takuya Kuroda added a nice touch. Thanks to all the friends who helped get the new Facebook page started!
