Playlist for 2-25-2014 WFCF - Female Vocalists vs. Godzilla!

See anyone you like? Clockwise from top left: Diana Krall, Anita O'Day, Carmen McRae, Lena Horne, Diana Reeves, Valerie Gillespie, Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan, Nancy Wilson, Godzilla, Julie London, Jane Monheit, Marlena Shaw, Sybil Gage.

It's here! The sequel to last July's thriller "Attack of the Female Vocalists". Old favorites and new superstars, classic tracks and hidden diamonds... quite a few albums added to my own collection for this event, and still more from the WFCF library being played for the first time on this show. Warning: Godzilla will be vocalizing! However, his antics will be represented by instrumental performances of towering giants of jazz. Two vocal numbers for every one instrumental; odds are on the gals! Tune in Tuesday February 25th for the mayhem and melody, scatting, warbling, cooing, wailing and destruction! Hear it happen live on iHeart for free by clicking here. 3-7pm Eastern. See you then! - Kendo
